A safe education environment

  It is vital for children to gain the skills of working online but when there are so many resources on the web finding the right ones can be very time-consuming. uLearn takes care of that for you by only including the resources that teachers have found to be useful and that meet the needs of the curriculum, not a million resources that you don't have time to sift through.

  uLearn allows you to copy the resources created by other teachers and make them suitable for your particular class.

  Pupil safety is paramount. uLearn is an education-only environment allowing pupils and teachers to work together safely.

  Each school registration is individually verified by WebBased. Only registered teachers are able to create additional staff and pupil accounts, and only staff and pupils are able to publish resources. Single sign-on via the Authority's Learning Platform is provided for those Authorities who have implemented Shibboleth.

  Unlike some other learning tools there is no technical burden for the school. All you need to access uLearn is a computer, a web browser (preferably Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox) and a broadband internet connection.
